At Call of the Wild, we specialize in off-leash dog walking wilderness adventures, as well as a variety of other services ranging from some dog training to cat care. Dogs NEED ample exercise. Plain and simple. The reality is that our schedules don’t always allow for the kind of life we want our dogs to lead, and that is where we can help. We come during the day to pick up your dog and take them off on an adventure with their other dog friends, and then drop them back off to you home. You will be able to come home at the end of the day with the peace of mind that your dog got to stretch their legs, run and play, all under the care of an experienced dog handler. Our background in dog training really does give us an advantage in being able to offer our clients the best quality of service.
We service the core Dartmouth and Halifax areas. If you live just outside of these areas, please feel free to contact us anyway. If we are not able to meet your needs, we can get you set up with another professional dog walker who services your area. Our main goal is to make sure that both you are happy and all of your dogs’ needs are being met!
wag more. bark less
Does your dog pull on leash? Steal food off the counter? Think your clothes are tug toys? Bark and lunge at strangers and dogs? It doesn't have to be that way! Puppy classes, life skills classes, adult dog classes, reactive dog classes.
Do you have interests in obedience, agility, tricks, fly ball, disc dogging, freestyle, and beyond? Click here to explore!
If you asked your dog what the good life is, they would tell you its tearing through the woods with their friends, dodging trees and hunting squirrels. Swimming in the lake and chasing sticks. Our off leash hikes are a whole lot of fun! We are always accepting friendly dogs into our group, and serve the core Halifax and Dartmouth areas. If your dog likes off leash hiking, then they will LOVE this wonderful service!
HAPPY DOGS PLAY HERE
Mid-day potty breaks are the perfect option for puppies or senior dogs who really just cannot "hold it" for a full work day. Perhaps your dog just needs a little break in the middle of the day to help to chop up your long work day. These 20 minute visits mean that your dog can get out of the house and stretch their legs, go to the bathroom, and have some yummy treats while they are at it!
